SC calls for PM standpoint on NICL case

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court has called for prime minister’s standpoint in writing on NICL land scandal case and adjourned the hearing for one week on Attorney General’s plea, Geo News reported.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heading the two-member SC bench during the hearing of the case here today directed AG to submit a detail reply on this case in the next hearing making it crystal clear that how much money went abroad, who were the accused and how to arrest them.

The AG was also asked to enquire from the establishment division and interior affairs secretaries besides principal secretary to the PM about the standpoint of the competent authority.

The court calling for the original letter of the anti-crime British organization adjourned the hearing until July 25.
